Buy Private Label and Prosper

In 2008, an estimated 63% of the vitamin and supplements that consumers purchased were private label or store brand supplements.
Consumers found them to be of the same or even higher quality than that of branded supplements. The private label store brands are usually a much better bargain, in these times it pays to shop value.

Know Your Supplier
If you need to know who makes the private label or store brand vitamins line you are considering purchasing, just ask your web based supplier or shop owner. They should be happy to let you know who supplies them with their quality products.
Any proprietor of a vitamin and supplement store always wishes to have his or her customers return repeatedly. Therefore, it is good for business if a manufacturer of their private label supplements store offers the highest quality available to them.
Research, along with the "tried and true" method of marketing and selling will show the conscientious owner just what does and does not sell, thus keeping customers coming back for more.

Buying In Bulk
When any web based vitamin retailer signs on for a private label line, they must sign a contract with the supplier concerning their business ethics and pricing.
Another factor in their agreement is quantity. A vitamin business proprietor must agree to purchase anywhere from 24 to 60 bottles of each product they add to their line. What does this mean for you? You will receive much better prices. The larger quantities purchased the better price they pay.

Who Pays the Liability Insurance?
Every storeowner today, whether he or she sells on the internet or has a physical store has to carry liability insurance. This is to protect the consumer in case of death or near fatal side effects.
In the case of private label brands, the original manufacturer picks up the tab for the storeowner, thus standing behind their products entirely. This is another plus for the consumer. The storeowner does not have to incorporate this expense into his or her prices, thus further keeping the costs down for their customers.

Freshness is Guaranteed
Some shop owners are able to stamp the expiration dates on bottles not properly sealed in shrink-wrap from the manufacturer. This is not true of the private label brand. Because the manufacturer of the vitamins take the responsibility of the liability insurance, they make sure the freshness dates on their products are placed on the bottles in a manner that cannot be altered.
This is good news for consumers, too. After all, isn't buying vitamins and supplements all for our continued overall good health?
So next time you see a private label brand - go ahead, rest assured you are getting good quality and a better "bang for your buck."
