Money Relationships Work Place Life Style
Denying that we have a problem area in our life deprives us of personal growth. Personal growth and change is vital to living a happy, joyous and free life.
Money
1. Access your credit card debt and how you use the cards. Did the cards get a big balance from an occurrence in your life like a medical emergency, auto accident, or a household catastrophe? Alternatively, do you often say...I do not even know how the card got that big of a balance. Do you pay the minimum payment; does the balance stay pretty much the same each month?
2. Go online and take a credit card assessment...Are you happy with your score? Can you do better? You will feel better about yourself if you just use credit cards for emergencies. If you have tried that and it does not work for you, have no credit cards at all.
3. Ask yourself why you need a credit card. Be honest; realize a debit card can achieve the same result for purchases on line or at retail stores and medical facilities. Do not have the money right now? Tell the person who is asking for money that you do not use credit cards and you need to work out a payment plan. I guarantee this will save you money in the end!
Relationships
1. Who do we hang out with? Negative people teach us negativity. Is your friend or lover negative in thoughts and actions? Do you think you can be around a negative person and that it will not affect you? Keep in mind, you cannot change another person. If you are becoming critical, it may be time to access your relationship, get help, negativity brings on stress, stress brings on illness.
2. Do you express your relationships in terms of prayer or by writing affirmations? Of course, you can do both. Get a steno tablet at the store. Each morning journal your goals and aspirations for the day. Here are the ones I wrote today: I am a healthy vibrant human being, kind hearted. I am making a profit, Pallets will be sold today. Wealth is being attracted to me as I write. Debt will be reduced everyday. I will spend money wisely today.
3. Are you a loner? Ok, admitting that is the first step toward reaching out. Learning to love another person is difficult. You can start by sharing love and affection with a dog, cat, or other pet; then move on to a good-friend relationship. Use e-mails, phone calls, perhaps a lunch occasionally to spark the friendship. Start out slow. Looking for a mate? You must learn love and give-and take from animals or friends first. You must walk before you fly.
Workplace
Have you ever said: I am not the same person at work as I am at home. At work, I am more productive, kinder, more structured. Oh Really? Perhaps it is time to build healthy habits and try being the same person at both places..Novel idea?
1. You are going to hear gossip; do not repeat it, do not spread it.
2. Definitely have a.. to do.. list for work. Check it often and make sure to do all the things you list each day. Not everyday, but say twice a month, ask your boss if your list is complete, ask for assistance.
3. Change, change and more change. Be ready for change. Bosses, employees, rules, policies they all come and go very quickly. Be ready to move with the flow. Be grateful you do not have to worry about the profitably of 2 to 5,000 or more workers. Do your job; let the experts do the difficult stuff. Your daily challenges of keeping a happy face and taking care of your job-related responsibilities will be enough to keep you busy and employed!
Lifestyle
1. Are you drinking too much? Do you smoke? Are you taking prescription or illegal drugs? What is your caffeine intake each day? Now this is a biggy. Denial is a symptom of drug, alcohol, tobacco, and caffeine addiction.
2. Keep it simple..do not try to be a perfectionist. Take your problems one at a time. Set daily goals, forgive yourself when you light up, have a beer, con the doc out of another prescription, or drink colas, coffee and tea all day.
3. Vitamins and supplements are very essential to your health. They can help assist in healing the body from the use of chemicals. Vitamin B is given to alcoholics and substance abusers to restore life to the blood, nerve structures and restore general platen strength.
Vitamin C wards off infections; antioxidants such as CoQ10 and Alpha Lipoic Acid help rid the body of toxins. Psyllium husks will add fiber and cleanse the colon of the dreadful toxins that one consumes and breathes in daily.
As with any vitamin or supplement, please consult your doctor before taking. Author Beverly Terhune speaks from 35 years of living with Rheumatoid Arthritis and shares her experience, strength & hope on how to lead a healthy, substance-free life.
